About Third Sight

Founder's Story

Dahlia Shaewitz, CEO of Third Sight LLC

I founded Third Sight LLC with one clear purpose: to put disability inclusion at the center of every conversation, decision, and action.

I come to this work not just as a professional, but as someone deeply shaped by personal experience. I was raised by Deaf parents and proudly belong to the Deaf community — American Sign Language was my first language. That upbringing gave me a profound understanding of the richness of diverse experiences and the importance of communication, empathy, and advocacy.

Disability is part of the human experience — it touches all of us, whether through our own lives, our families, our friendships, our workplaces, or our communities. Yet, all too often, people with disabilities are an afterthought, if they’re even considered at all. I want to change that. I want to build a company that begins with the belief that disability inclusion isn’t optional — it’s essential

At Third Sight, we believe that any practice, policy, or piece of data that impacts people will also impact people with disabilities. Our mission is to ensure that disability is not just acknowledged but also prioritized. We partner with organizations, communities, and leaders to create systemic change — shifting policies, shaping programs, and fostering cultures where the talent and contributions of people with disabilities are both recognized and valued.

What keeps me going is knowing that there are many talented individuals who live and work with authenticity, drive, and passion — people who have so much to give when given the opportunity. My work is about breaking down barriers so they can thrive. Whether I’m coaching leaders with and without disabilities, guiding teams through inclusive strategies, or leading policy and evaluation projects, the throughline is belief — in their abilities, their wisdom, and their potential to lead.

We know that disability is a natural part of the human condition. When societies everywhere truly understand and value the contributions of all people, Third Sight will have fulfilled its mission.

Mission, Vision, & Values

Mission

We contribute to and create conditions for success in work and life for people with disabilities. Through inclusive practices, advocacy, and tailored support, we empower individuals to thrive, achieve their goals, and participate fully in their communities.

Vision

An inclusive world that celebrates creativity, authenticity, kindness, and passion. We envision a society where every individual is valued for who they are, and where diverse talents and perspectives are embraced as essential to collective growth and well-being.

Values

Creating the Future Together. At Third Sight we understand that solutions to the challenges we face today require creating a future in which everyone is included. We value collective approaches through creativity, authenticity, kindness, and passion.

Our values reflect our vision:

  • Everyone has abilities and everyone who wants to work can work

  • Disability is part of the human condition, it is normal and not exceptional

  • Creativity and innovation are collaborative acts

  • Working with authenticity and passion leads to success

Inclusion: Why it Matters.

The results of disability discrimination and low expectations lead to limited education and career opportunities, economic inequality, health conditions, and social isolation.

  • 25% of people in the US self-report disability (CDC, 2024)

  • 15% of people worldwide report having a disability (World Bank, 2025)

  • Stigma and discrimination (ableism) are the greatest obstacles to full engagement of people with disabilities (CDC, 2025)

Leadership: Why it Matters.

Inclusive leaders empower teams, create opportunities, offer clear direction and vision, and ensure fairness for everyone.

At Third Sight we believe that:

  • Leaders enhance value within teams and for organizations

  • Leaders create future possibilities and bring together talent to contribute to that future

  • Leadership can be learned

  • Everyone is a leader from their position in the organization and in the community
